The Valvcon Q6 actuator was designed for remote service from battery/solar power, commanded by a radio operator. The Q6 is typically used for remote well head applications.

How does the Q6 differ from our standard 12VDC V Series actuator?

Functionally, the standard Q6 (no options) is identical to a DC powered V Series with a dual relay board, except the dual relay board is incorporated in the main PC board. The Q6 has no modular plug-in capability.

Surge protection is built into the Q6 circuit board to provide some protection against high voltage transients (i.e. lightning). The Q6 has four limit switches; two for open/close limits and two for independent position indication. the Q6 is designed for low current draw and has an LED indicator for input power verification.
